More than help — the power to rebuild a life
POWER to CHANGE reinvests resources saved by companies and consumers into energy-vulnerable households and Indigenous communities. Through equipment upgrades, education and local co-work, one act of support meets today's need — and builds the power to live independently and give back. An impact program combining energy savings, energy justice, community wellbeing and corporate participation.
On site — Light Up Infinite Hope, home lighting retrofitWith traditional donation, the money leaves and that's the end of it. POWER to CHANGE is different — every act of support helps the people being helped grow their own strength, until one day they become the ones who help others. Resources aren't a one-way output; they are re-used and compounded. The three programs below are different doors to the same thing: turning beneficiaries into contributors.
What does change look like?
Real moments from Power to Change household visits.

Signing up, in her own hand
Every household energy upgrade starts with full explanation and the family's consent. Residents sign for themselves and learn about their electricity use and what can improve. We don't decide for a family — we walk with them as they take back the choice to improve their own lives.

One light comes on
What gets replaced isn't just a bulb or a tube — it's chronically high bills, the risks of aging wiring, and the inconvenience of dim rooms. When the house lights up again, life gains a little hope, safety, ease and room to breathe.

Questions, answered
- How is POWER to CHANGE different from a donation?
- A donation ends once the money is given; POWER to CHANGE drives a shift in identity — helping the people who were helped become helpers themselves, so resources compound.
- How can a company take part?
- Sponsor one of three programs (Light Up Endless Hope / Indigenous student co-education / Indigenous co-employment) and receive an auditable outcomes report.
- How much does sponsorship cost?
- By program scale — we'll size it with you around your goals.
- How do you make sure resources reach the people who need them?
- DOMI works through local governments, social-welfare organizations, communities and local partners for referral and verification, and keeps consent, delivery and outcome records per program. With privacy protected, companies receive corresponding outcome reports.
- What results does a company receive?
- Depending on the program: households served, participation counts, equipment or action results, estimated carbon and bill savings, employee-participation records, and consented impact stories — for internal communication and sustainability reporting.
- Can our employees take part?
- Yes. Programs can include employee volunteering, household energy education, advocacy campaigns, Indigenous co-work or internal sharing. DOMI designs participation around the site's and families' needs, so activities never intrude on homes or burden communities.
