DOMI exists to make earth happy through climate action — One Reduce, One Add. We believe people and the planet are inseparable: a transition is only truly just when it respects the dignity and rights of everyone our work touches.

So DOMI commits to respecting human rights across all of our operations and business relationships, in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). At a minimum, we respect the rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the fundamental labour rights set out by the International Labour Organization (ILO) — including freedom of association and collective bargaining, the elimination of forced and child labour, and the elimination of discrimination.

This commitment covers our own operations and extends to our suppliers, partners, and our wider value chain. We pay particular attention to the people most likely to be affected by our work — our team and field staff, the partners who help us plant trees and run environmental education, and the families, children, and rural communities who take part in our programs.

In line with the UNGPs, we commit to:

Avoid and address harm: we will not cause or contribute to adverse human-rights impacts through our own activities, and where we find we have, we will stop and work to remedy them.

Prevent and mitigate: where human-rights risks are linked to our operations or services through our partners, we will use our leverage to encourage improvement.

Provide remedy: where we cause or contribute to an adverse impact, we will provide for or cooperate in legitimate remediation.

Carry out ongoing due diligence: proportionate to our size and risk, we will regularly review actual and potential human-rights impacts across our operations and value chain, and act on what we find.

Anyone can raise a human-rights concern or grievance with us safely, confidentially, and without fear of retaliation. We will respond and, where warranted, remediate.

This commitment is adopted by DOMI ENERGY CO., LTD. We review it at least annually and keep improving as our operations and understanding evolve.
